نداء لمواجهة الجوع والتجويع
انطلاقا من واجبنا الانساني والاخلاقي والوطني، ولمواجهة سياسة التجويع التي يمارسها الاحتلال الاسرائيلي في قطاع غزة عامة وفي مدينة غزة وشمالها خاصة، يطلق مركز العمل التنموي/معا هذا النداء من أجل توفير اكبر عدد ممكن من الوجبات الغذائية الساخنة للعائلات خلال شهر رمضان الفضيل.
تتكون الوجبة للشخص الواحد من 6 سياخ من الكباب والارز ليومين وبقيمة 55 شيكل، او 3 سياخ كباب مع ارز للشخص الواحد ليوم واحد بنصف التكلفة.
سيتم توزيع الوجبات على العائلات النازحة في مدينة غزة ومحيط مستشفى المعمدان، ومحيط مراكز الإيواء، حيث تتكدس الاف العائلات التي تعيش بالخيام المهترئة، وتواجه خطر المجاعة الحقيقي. كما ستشمل 850 فردا من العائلات النازحة والتي فقدت بيوتها والتجأت الى كنيستي الروم واللاتين في مدينة غزة، والتي تضم عائلات مسلمة ومسيحية.
ان وقوفكم مع العائلات النازحة، التي فقدت كل شيء، من منازل وممتلكات، ووظائف، وعمل ودخل مادي، اضافة إلى فقدانها لأبنائها وأفراد اسرها، يعني وقوفكم ودفاعكم عن الانسانية التي تذبح يوميا.
لنعمل ونتعاون جميعا في توفير هذه الوجبات التي من شأنها ان تسهم في سد رمق جوع وعطش أطفال ونساء وشيوخ ورجال يكابدون من أجل لقمة العيش. انهم يعيشون في جحيم حقيقي.
لنتحد جميعا في تأدية واجبنا الأخلاقي والانساني وتوفير ما نستطيع توفيره من لقمة تمكن أطفالنا من مواجهة المجاعة وسوء التغذية.
لقد عمل مركز معا منذ بداية هذه الحرب الدموية على شعبنا، على تقديم كل أشكال الدعم من توفير حوالي 11 مليون لتر من مياه الشرب، وأكثر من 44 ألف وجبة ساخنة ل 88 ألف فرد في وسط وجنوب قطاع غزة. كما وفر أكثر من 63,000 طرد غذائي وعشرات الاف الرزم الصحية والكرامة والملابس، وقام ببناء 51 وحدة صحية من الحمامات، ويقدم الدعم النفسي للأطفال والأمهات في 27 مدرسة في قطاع غزة، اضافة الى القيام بتنظيف 27 مدرسة بشكل يومي لتوفير النظافة في مراكز الايواء والحمامات. كما قدم أكثر من 4.33مليون شيكل دعما ل 5,700 اسرة من القطاع، إضافة إلى الاف بكيتات من الفوط الصحية، والبامبرز للأطفال، كبار السن والمعاقين. كما وفر أكثر من 3300 شادر و170 خيمة للعائلات التي افترشت الأرصفة والشوارع بعد هدم بيوتها.
عمل المركز، خلال الاشهر الخمسة الماضية، مع العديد من المؤسسات الاممية والدولية والأفراد والعائلات لتوفير كل أشكال الدعم والتدخلات الطارئة لمواجهة الكارثة الإنسانية نتيجة لحرب الابادة التي تشن ضد شعبنا.

Call to Confront Hunger and Starvation
Based on our humanitarian, ethical, and national duty, and to confront the policy of starvation practiced by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip in general, and in the city of Gaza and its north in particular, MA’AN Development Center is launching this call to provide the largest possible number of hot meals to displaced Gazan families during the holy month of Ramadan.
Each meal for one person consists of 6 skewers of kebab and rice for two days at a cost of 55 shekels, or 3 kebab skewers with rice for one person for one day at half the cost.
The meals will be distributed to displaced families in the city of Gaza and around Al-M’amadani Hospital and around the shelters, where thousands of families live in rundown tents, facing the real threat of famine. It will also include 850 individuals from displaced families who have lost their homes and sought refuge in the Greek Orthodox and Latin Churches in Gaza City, which includes Muslim and Christian families.
Your solidarity with displaced families, who have lost everything – homes, properties, jobs, livelihoods, as well as losing their children and family members, means standing up for humanity that is being slaughtered every day.
Let us all work and cooperate in providing these meals, which will help alleviate the hunger and thirst of children, women, elderly, and men struggling for survival. They are living in literal hell.
Let us unite in fulfilling our moral and humanitarian duty and provide what we can to provide a meal that enables our children to face hunger and malnutrition.
MA’AN Center has been working since the beginning of this brutal war to provide all forms of support, providing around 11 million liters of drinking water and more than 44,000 hot meals for 88,000 individuals in central and southern Gaza. It has also provided more than 63,000 food parcels, tens of thousands of health and dignity kits and clothing, and has built 51 sanitary units, providing psychological support to children and mothers in 27 schools in Gaza, in addition to cleaning 27 schools daily to ensure cleanliness in shelters and bathrooms. It has also provided more than 4.33 million shekels in support to 5,700 families in the Strip, in addition to thousands of packs of sanitary pads and diapers for children, the elderly, and the disabled. It has also provided more than 3,300 Sealing off kits and 170 tents for families who have been sleeping on sidewalks and streets after their homes were demolished.
Over the past five months, the center has worked with many international and local institutions, individuals, and families to provide all forms of support and emergency interventions to address the humanitarian disaster resulting from the genocidal war being waged against our people.
We appeal to you; we implore your consciences to cooperate with us in providing these meals to displaced families during the holy month of Ramadan. Your support, no matter how small, is an expression of your humanity.
