بعد النكبة بذلت الحركة الصهيونية جهدا كبيرا لأخفاء أثر الشعب الفلسطيني. ومن وسائل الاخفاء هذه زراعة مئات آلاف الأشجار الحرشية التي نجحت في إخفاء آثار القرى والبيئة الزراعية المختلفة. في شهر آب، اندلع حريق هائل في جبال غربي القدس. ومع انكشاف المنظر بعد انتهاء مفعول النيران، ظهرت من جديد الجدران الاستنادية الحجرية”السناسل” وجهد مئات السنين للفلاح الفلسطيني الذي بالرغم من كل المحاولات يأبى الا ان يظهر من جديد..

After the Nakba, the Zionist movement made a great effort to hide any traces of the Palestinian people. One of these methods was planting of hundreds of thousands of trees that have succeeded in concealing the effects of villages and the various agricultural environments. In August, a massive fire broke out in the mountains west of Jerusalem. After extinguishing the fire, the stone terraces “Sanasel” and hundreds of years of Palestinian labour in their land appeared again. It seems that in spite of all attempts to deny their presence the Palestinians refuse to remain concealed..
